WORSHIP SERVICES CANCELLED UNTIL MARCH 29, 2020
In monitoring the COVID 19 situation and the state of emergency announced yesterday, we, after receiving guidance from our Bishop Sharma Lewis, will cancel all worship services until March 29, 2020 when we will have a combined worship service at 10:00 am.
All weekly programming is canceled until Sunday April 5, 2020 (Palm Sunday). We will however, provide a message Sunday mornings, March 15 and March 22, at 11 am via Facebook. You can watch them by clicking here if you do not have a Facebook account.
We understand that this is a difficult decision and that we may wake up tomorrow with much better news than expected, but we feel that this is the safe thing to do with what we know at this time.
Please be in prayer for all of those affected and please remember that we are called to be a people of peace and not fear.

Dear Beulah Family,
With reports about the spread of the coronavirus (or COVID-19) we want you to know that the health of our community is of utmost concern and we are doing all that we can to stay current with public health guidelines, following best practices for hygiene, and are exercising an abundance of caution and care in responding to this situation.
In an abundance of caution, we are suggesting the following:
Worship Services: we will combine worship (8:30 and 11:00) in to one service at 10:00 am beginning this Sunday March 15 and throughout the month of March. We are planning to resume regular services on Sunday April 5 (Palm Sunday).
Wellspring will gather at 11:00 this Sunday, March 15 however, will participate in the remaining combined worship services throughout the month of March.
Sunday School: there will be no Sunday School until Palm Sunday April 5.
All Other Gatherings (UMW, UMM, Youth, all music rehearsals, Bible studies, Card Ministry, Hugging Hearts, Creator’s Studio, Wednesday Fellowship Dinners, Beulah’s Best, all Outreach Events (including the Easter Egg Hunt) are officially canceled until the week following April 5, 2020.
If you decide to stay home from worship, please find ways to stay in touch — through social media (primarily Facebook-where our Worship service will be posted) or emails and phone calls. We don’t want to create a situation where anyone feels lonely or isolated. Please know that Pastor Jon and I, and the Visitation Teams, will only visit via telephone call unless there is an emergency. We want to pray for you and provide other forms of assistance and care as needed.
We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness as well as for each of yours as you have supported each of the ministries of the church. From a budgeting standpoint the precautions listed above can be problematic. Attendance will be down due to the canceling or readjusting of events and giving typically slumps accordingly however, expenses remain the same. I invite you to be mindful of this reality and prayerfully discern your financial support as we move into one of the busiest times of our church calendar year. If you find yourself behind in your giving, or if you’d like to give a special offering to help offset this possible “slump”, we welcome your generous support and remind you that you can give in the following ways:

Let us be faithful and vigilant in our prayer for those nations, communities, families, and individuals most affected by this outbreak, and for the medical personnel and government officials seeking to respond.
Let us resist and reject fear and suspicion and above all, let us remember and rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord ( Rom. 8:38–39).
In the Peace of Christ,
Pastor Don Gibson & Pastor Jon Poarch
