Congregational Care Groups

Beulah is a family that cares and takes care of each other.   We do this through several groups and teams. Whether it's providing a ride to the hospital through Jesus Needs a Ride, Praying for those hurting in the Prayer Shawl ministry, or sending notes of encouragement in the Card Ministry the love of God shines here at Beulah.

There is always a place to get involved and spread the love.

GOD'S COMFORT

CARD MINISTRY

Meeting every Monday at 10:00 am, the Card Ministry makes cards and prays for those that are receiving them.  The cards go out to those away form home such as service man, college students, and those in the hospital.

JESUS NEEDS

A RIDE

A team of volunteers who will provide transportation for members to medical visits. We understand that going to the doctors can be a lonely experience, and for some, downright impossible. We offer this service free of charge to members of Beulah UMC for doctor’s appointments. We ask that as much forward notice be given.

HUGGING HEARTS

Beulah offers a bereavement support group called Hugging Hearts. The group is open to anyone who is dealing with grief due to the loss of a loved one and who would like to share their loss with others in order to begin rebuilding their lives. Meetings are held at church on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The facilitators are Emma Bradley and Louise King.

PRAYING SHAWL MINISTRY

If knitting or crocheting is one of your favorite pastimes, then this is the group for you. The Prayer Shawl Ministries group finds fellowship in a spiritual environment. They meet monthly to knit and crochet shawls. These shawls are then distributed to members of the community in need of comfort due to impending surgeries, illness, or loss of loved ones.
