ALPHA IS COMING TO BEULAH!
Join us beginning September 7th, for Wednesday Worship Meals at 6:00 pm. Then move to Room 109 for Alpha small group video and discussions. It is low key, relaxed, and fun!
This is a focused small group that will last 11 weeks with one weekend retreat. It is an opportunity to bond with a small group and drill deeper into our faith, it is all about sharing God’s love through friendship. This Alpha session is hosted by Pastor Don Gibson and Pastor Pam Anderson.
In a world of isolation, anonymity, and keyboard-warriors, Alpha offers space for open, honest, and judgement free conversations about life’s biggest questions and a safe space for conversations about faith. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off limits.
The overall purpose of the Alpha small group is to give people an opportunity to discover and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by sharing the good news of the Gospel during the Alpha talk and allowing people to ask any question and hear the viewpoints of others through the small group discussion time.
“For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles of Christ we could have asserted our authority. Instead, we were like young children among you. Just as a nursing mother cares for her children, so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”
